The Cut

Mrs. Reyhan lost her wife,children and relatives who were discriminated against in the society where she lived as a minority in the past. . After several years, a researcher who wants to investigate the event reaches lady Reyhan and then wants to interview her about she was experiencing and comes to her home. Before the interview, Mrs. Reyhan goes to the kitchen to bring something to drink to the journalist, while the journalist who started to look at the photo album on the table finds traces of the past, in the kitchen, the fruit cut by Mrs. Reyhan helps with the traces of the past.

Director Biography - Ozan Takış

Ozan Takış was born in Kayseri,24/11/1985.Anadolu Unversity Graduate of Labor of Economics and Industrial Relations later he took writing and directing trainings from the academics department of Mersin University.He has also studied photography and published photographs in several local exhibitions. His first short film, Awakening Cannes Film Festival, took place in the short corner Turkey catalogue and received awards in many international festivals. The second short film, Şekire Pembü, entered the festival in Pakistan, New Zealand, Germany and finally Spain, and won the Special Jury Prize at the Radio City International Short Film Festival in Spain. He received the best short film project award at work in progress, Antalya Film Forum, Antalya International Film Festival, with her third short film Photograph. He continues his life as a photographer, editor, screenwriter and director.
