Director Statement

The Curious Case is a passion project of Carly's and mine where we wanted to pay homage to the classic sleuths we grew up on. Seeded from a "what if" we wanted to explore the idea if all of these monumental detectives ended up working on the same case, what would happen? We never thought we would receive as much support as we did, it seemed these characters from a past bygone were lost on younger audiences and forgotten by those who had a chance to experience their adventures during their original airing, we were wrong. Kickstarter backers poured in to support the modest project that was meant to be created for the sheer joy of it and help create a more expanded version. Many ideas, themes, and jokes are directly related to the characters and even episodes and long-running jokes from the original seasons, we hope that you all can sit back and enjoy the experience of a family-friendly mystery like they used to make that spans the time continuum and crosses boundaries of reality and fiction into a diabolically twisted concept that incorporated Columbo, Murder She Wrote, Diagnosis Murder and the infamous Sherlock Holmes.
