The Crossing - A Poem to Siddhartha

The Crossing - A Poem to Siddhartha, is a poetic and oneiric film that unites fantasy to approach the trajectory of Antônio, a young man in a continuous process of transformation and inner re-elaboration.

Through the eyes of an intimate narrator, the film invites us to enter Antonio's path of reflections and questionings during his process of analysis and self-discovery, revealing his anguish, adventures, and concerns about his life story and the paths he has walked and has yet to walk. Stripped of any mask, Antônio reveals his fragility, his fears, longings, and pain during the process of his awakening.

The Crossing - A Poem to Siddhartha is a true philosophical and existential treatise on the human condition in its process of understanding and polishing its own persona, having as free inspiration the life story and teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha.
