The Crisis of our Lives - Season 1

In 2008 João lost his job because the factory where he worked closed down. Sandra started to make plans to emigrate to Macau. Rodrigo made savings, ignoring that he was going to lose them with the rescue of the bank where he deposited them.
They didn't know it yet, but what would be the crisis of their lives was beginning.
"A Crise das Nossas Vidas" is a documentary series, with two seasons, 5 episodes each, where we tell the stories of some of the most affected by the historical crisis in Portugal (2008-2014).
On the first season, aired in 2019, we interviewed the main policy makers, both in Portugal and the European Commission, responsible for the crucial decisions that culminated on the international bailout program.
On the second season, aired in 2020, we follow the trail of the individual stories told previously to understand how the pandemic hit their lives.
