The Creation

They creation myth tells the story of the two Kumiai brother gods Sipa and Komat, who after waking up in Wakunyur, their home in the center of the earth, decide to go to the surface. Once outside, they create the ants who built mount Wikami. After that, once the water had regressed, they took clay and started shaping the world.

Layla Morán es originaria de Tijuana, Baja California. Estudia la
Licenciatura en Cine y Animación en la Universidad de las Tecnologías Avanzadas (UNIAT). Tiene experiencia en diseño de personajes y arte conceptual ganando múltiples premios. ''La creación'' es su primer cortometraje animado como directora.
