The Cradle

This story is about a woman, Who is continuously abused by her husband and out caste from home by her in-laws, for delivering three daughters consecutively.

Now a Mother with no shelter becomes a thief to feed her two teen daughters and an infant. During this struggle to survive, she is been raped by a butcher who happens to be a Pimp. As he offers her to come into prostitution and says that he will pay her 50 bucks per customer. she agrees to do it helplessly.

for survival of her daughters, she chooses a wrong path without knowing the consequences. After certain period of time, the pimp finds her useless and intends to sell her eldest daughter, to get a good amount of money. but she refuses. therefore the pimp breaks the deal between them, and stops bringing customers for her.

Now, she becomes helpless again, she has no food to feed her daughters and no money to survive. Things go wrong again and she tries hard for the customers, but fails.

Now the only way she has for the survival of her younger daughter and an infant is to sell her eldest daughter. She finally sells her daughter to the pimp.

She has money in her hand, walking down on the road to way home, not aware of the running vehicles, she dies in an accident. leaving behind her younger daughter and an infant, who she was struggling for, in this cruel world.

She did what was needed to be done in the situations she was going through.

sometimes, life brings us in a situation where right and wrong has no meaning.

We do what the survival wants us to do.
