Director Biography - Jake Isaacs

Jake Isaacs is a filmmaker and social worker from Los Angeles, CA. After 10 years in the entertainment industry, including animation, stand-up comedy, sketch comedy, independent producing, writing, and directing, he went back to school to pursue a Masters in Social Work & Gerontology. He now makes culturally conscious entertainment, leveraging story-telling and production skills for social good.

Director Statement

The general populous does not know much about homelessness beyond the despair, which is often the focus in a lot of media and often leaves viewers feeling helpless. What people need to know about is how much work is being done in the pursuit of ending homelessness. This project offers a strength-based approach to ending homelessness by recognizing the talent and dedication of social service providers.
