Maryam Bahaari was born in 1999 in Tehran. From early ages she engaged with various forms of art: painting, acting and photography. To create an image that fully represented her ideas she started studying Graphic Design in Kherad Art High School. To design the space within her image she studied Theatre Set Design and Photography in Tehran University of Art for two years. Later she started studying Film making in UWE Bristol.
She has always been committed to develop her personal projects alongside her studies. They have taken many shapes during the years. However, her main aim for pursuing art as a career is to be able to raise awareness, share beauty and tell stories. Furthermore, coming from an Iranian background has given her a different perspective which encourages her to use art as a method that can disclose many global, social, cultural and psychological issues.
