The Cosmos Sisters

The Cosmos Sisters, a pop band led by Nora and Whitney, was the hottest thing to come out of Northampton, MA in 2010. But now it’s 10 years later and Nora & Whitney haven’t felt the cosmic power in a minute.

However, after the death of Nora’s mother, she
finds herself back in the house and barn where The
Cosmos Sisters thrived. Hearing that Nora is not coping, Whitney - whose life is also not going great - decides to come over and “help out”.

When they receive a suspicious request for The Cosmos Sisters to play again, Nora and Whitney can’t resist going down that chaotic and nostalgic road again.

It’s showtime, baby. For better or for worse.

Director Biography - Whitney Uland, Nora Kaye

Uland and Kaye are a powerhouse duo who have been
called the next Tina Fey/Amy Poehler (but no one has
been brave enough to specify who is who).
Their breakout independent pilot, Hysterical Women, a
dark comedy about gender inequality in the workplace,
was an official selection at Catalyst Content (formerly
ITV Fest,) SeriesFest and New York Independent
Film Festival, the Cannes Short Film Corner, and
won both Jury Award and Audience Choice Award at
Geena Davis's Bentonville Film Festival.

The duo has developed for Hooked Media, were
contributing writers on The Hating Game, starring Lucy
Hale, and their project, The Improv House, caught the
attention of NBC, CBS, Funny or Die and Medium.
They have several features and pilots at various stages of
development.

Uland and Kaye create films as complex, weird, dark,
honest, funny and intricate as the people who make them.
