The Cortege
Inside a pickup truck that follows a funeral procession on the highway, Rosa begins to speculate about the possible infidelity between her husband Everardo and her sister Cecilia, who, uncomfortable, also accompany her in the vehicle. The silence of mourning transforms into a tense and uneasy atmosphere as the van moves forward.

El Cortejo is a short film based on a story I wrote with the premise of never revealing the true conflict, but rather exploring the emotions and sensations the characters experience. Through few dialogues, the loud music, and the weariness of the truck, the film delves into the tension within a dysfunctional family.
