The Conundrum
Nayeem, a university student, who is apparently leading a boring and mundane life, wakes up one morning and discovers that everything seems like yesterday. He goes on with the day, slowly starting to question everything that feels like déjà vu, slowly descending into insanity and giving himself up to the fear of the unknown.

The idea came to me about a year ago. Being an avid fan of the avant garde filmmaking, as well as the modern masters such as David Lynch, Christopher Nolan and Rod serling worked as a huge inspiration for the story. But I never thought that we would be able to turn the story into a film. It was an impossible task.
But then, we made the film. But it became possible because of an entirely different approach. It became possible because we shot the entire film with only two mobile phones. This is kind of a statement concerning the modern indie- guerilla filmmaking style, on how one can make films with literally any camera and make it work.
Many filmmakers have worked on the certain subject, the time loop and the brilliant riddle surrounding the scenario. But we tried to explore the subject from a very different angle, where the whole concept raises questions instead of answering one. Despite the subject being in the realm of science fiction, we tried to explore it from a Lynchian surreal horror perception where the fear of the unknown is inevitable, like in some of the stories of Lovecraft.
And the ending? People will figure that out in their own ways, and that’s the beauty of it, isn’t it?

I've been dreaming of becoming a film maker ever since I watched the first cinema of my life. The art of presenting the story in front of camera is pure magic. And I've always wanted to be a part of that magic.I'm inspired by so many great directors like Nolan, Kubrick, Hitchcock and so on, the list is gonna be very long! This is my first little step into this magic world and I look forward to explore it in near future.
