The Commuterments

“ The Commuterments” is a comedy animation that emulates commuter behavior inside a Dublin bus. The film is an observation of commuters using anthropomorphic characters. Siobhan, the main character is a lioness that is very proud and loud. With good humour she interacts with the community on her journey to work every morning. The Commuterments depicts situations with a humorous approach and good "craic".

Director Biography - André Parra

André is a Brazilian-born Irish national living in Dublin, Ireland since 2010.

In Ireland, André completed his art education with a BA Honours Degree in Illustration from the National College of Art and Design and a BA Degree in Animation from Colaiste Dhulaigh (CDCFE) & the University of Wolverhampton in May 2022.

During his career as an Illustrator, André has created works for The Irish Times, Powers Whiskey, The Body Shop, Disney Ireland, and RTE Jr. among others.
