I wrote the screenplay, The Color of Life, mid 2018 after I wrote a poem and read several articles on how people with Albinism (particularly in Tanzania) are hunted down, brutally murdered and their body parts used in rituals. The main character in this screenplay narrates these heart-breaking ordeals and pleads for everyone to see her as a normal human being who has the right to life. This story strives to be a voice for people with Albinism and change the society’s negative attitude.
