The Clouds

My name is Steven Terris. I am 28 years of age and I have had a passion for films since I was a kid. I love seeing the different styles of filmmaking from other countries and the different styles of cultures sounds and scores. I am Greek. Both of my parents were born in Greece and moved to America when they were both very young. I love learning about my culture through movies, music and dance. One of my favorite Greek filmmakers is Thodōros Angelopoulos. I love his vision and screenwriting. It's very delicate and beautiful. His cinematographer Giorgos Arvanitis is someone who I inspire to be. I love his long takes. Taking his time and allowing the viewers to see what's going on in the scene and the suspense of what's to come as the camera shot is moving slowly from one view to the next.
I have helped out in the San Diego film community as a PA, grip, and gaffer. The first person who reached out to me Jodi Cilley. She was the one that helped kick start my career and gain so many connections. So I am really thankful for her. I have helped with setting up the 2023 San Diego Film awards. I have helped in theater for Derrick Acosta (From mega64) in his story "Dancing with Bliss". And I got paid as a grip in a feature film called "If you should leave before me" directed by Robert and Marcus Anderson (sponsored by SAG Productions).
