Net zero is a cumbersome term. Science knows exactly what is meant by this term, but, the average costumer is overwhelmed by the complexity of the subject. Supposedly net-zero-companies use this lack of knowledge to trick costumers into buying pseudo-net-zero-products. Labels are bought with compensation only and contribute to damaging the climate even more. Clarification and Education on this topic is essential in the fight against greenwashing and for a climate-friendly future.

But how can you get people interested in such a complex topic? How can you explain it in a gripping way? We - the film team Jolo Films - thought about it for a long time, then we shot an action film. In the setting of an underground battle there is a terrible final opponent – the emission. But two young and brave fighters try to face the challenge – the personification of the compensation and the reduction. The audience - the embodiment of consumers - rages wildly on the side. Their future is at stake. In between, a slightly mafia-like company boss and his weak climate protection officer furiously intervene in the battle. Linda - the not entirely impartial commentator - adds fuel to the proceedings. Will these two courageous challengers be able to beat the emission and save our future? Clarity in this chaos of emotions is provided by an expert who explains the content and messages in a calm voice.
