Jon is a member of 3A3 who collaborated to make this film.
3A3 is a Trio of Queer Artists who have come together through the need to quarantine. We seek to nurture a habitat of creative cooperation where our varying skill sets and sense of resourcefulness come together to create playful, reflective, visually driven stories.
"The Clap" was created as a part of a 48 hour film festival run by the Los Angeles Guild of Puppetry. We furiously poured ourselves in to the world of our puppet, friend (who spells their name with a lowercase f and uses the pronouns "they/them"). Through their kindness, inventiveness, and tenaciousness, friend showed us how to actively pursue hope during a hard time in New York City. We hope they do the same for you.
