The City That (Never) Sleeps
This film is inspired and adapted from a personal story. It provides a step into the shoes of a common experience in not just high school but life: the feeling of falling into an endless cycle and the struggle to find happiness. As the girl in this cycle tries to reclaim her passion, she also learns that relationships are what make life more meaningful. Overall, "The City That (Never) Sleeps" is a story filled with lessons from regret and growth with a hint of an LGBTQIA+ experience. I hope this film touches the experiences of others and reminds people to not let go of their inner child.

My name is Natalie Omori-Hoffe. I'm a Japanese-American that currently lives in Singapore. I'm 19-years-old and go by the pronouns she/her/hers. I am working towards a psychology and film double major at Brandeis University.
Since I was 12, I've been producing a variety of films ranging from music videos to short narrative films. I strive to continue improving on my video production skills. This specific film that I act in relates to my own personal experience and I hope it can connect to others as well to remind people that they are not alone in their struggles.
