Director Biography

Mellie Valencia is a mass communication major concentrating on multi-form journalism with a minor in Spanish. She will graduate in December 2025. Mellie completed an internship with KPRC 2 during the Fall 2024 semester. This semester, Mellie has been covering all things involving the death penalty and the Texas Prison System.
