Director Biography - Penelope Vaughn

Penelope Vaughn, is student filmmaker who resides in Tampa, Florida. She is originally from Kissimmee, Florida and has had a love of filmmaking since her youth. She focuses on altered reality, and plays with colored lighting. Penelope is currently studying her BFA in Film and Media Production at University of Tampa.

Director Statement

Lighting is key to changing any mood visually. For this class piece I wanted to create to situations that could correlate, but have drastically different meanings. In a society where women have to worry about covering their drinks, I wanted to show the danger in an aesthetically appealing way.
