Akmaral Batalova is a Kazakhstani journalist and film producer.
She graduated from the Kazakh State University, has Master's degree in International Relations of Complutense University (Spain) and studied in Madrid Diplomatic School.
She is showing the “Astana Process” and has produced several documentaries, such as : “Rowan in the Ruins”, “World Diplomacy’s Olympus”, “Being calm”, “Humility Capital”, “World religion in the Syrian crisis” film is based interviews with both sides of the conflict. Interview was leading by Akmaral.
Akmaral was assigned to produce a documentary film about Kazakhstan being as non-permanent member of the UN Security Council. She did the interviews with different centres of analysis, countries’ representatives and UN Chairman-General António Guterres.
Akmaral was awarded the "Woman of the Year" by the international women's organization WinTrade in the UK. She was acknowledge by the Russian Ministry of Defense for balanced and unbiased TV reports&articles from Syria which are highlighting the humanitarian problems
