The Cemetery Lovers
Beth was a "Goth Girl" before such a thing existed. Jared is a natural sculptor of stone statuary. A love of cemeteries is what brought them together. Their love for each other has only just been discovered through a lucky sequence of events. But age-old prejudices threaten to destroy the one thing they both hold most dear.

Chris Pinero has stated that the original Goth-Girl in Waco, Texas is responsible for his rambling career path. His appreciation for variations on traditional music and sculpture are expressed in the detail he draws attention to in his writing. Having studied geology and environmental science, Chris is certain to include topics relevant to these sciences into his writing whenever possible. A story dealing with sculpture and music is likely a story close to his heart.
My favorite job, ever, was at Dietz Memorial Works, Inc. in Waco, Texas during the summer of 1990. It wasn't a glorious job. I quickly learned that the more experienced stone-workers were much better at keeping relatively clean despite the dusty conditions we worked in.
I took great pride in my work at this job. After all, I was helping to create monuments that would be expected to stand the test of time. My work would help ensure that a family would be able to properly pay their respects to their dearly departed loved-ones, no matter how much time might have elapsed since the internment of same.
