Noah Cutwright (left) is an award-winning cartoonist, director, and screenwriter. Cutwright grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, and attended The Cleveland Institute of Art to earn his BFA in Animation. He has worked at various companies including American Greetings, SmashBits Animations, and Cartoon Network Studios. Cutwright is also the creator of the comic strip and award winning short form animated web series, The Carsons. He also directed the short film, Floyd, for which he was named a Semi-Finalist in the Student Academy Awards
Jimmy Taylor (right) is an award-winning director, animator and character designer with a strong enjoyment in storytelling. Jimmy grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and developed a passion for animation and cartoons at the early age of 10. He would spend his after school hours creating cartoon comic strips and characters. Years later he would attend the Cleveland Institute of Art where he would go on to earn his BFA in Animation. He has been involved in animation production for companies such as American Greetings. He has been a co-developer and co-producer on the award-winning web series, The Carsons, since 2018.
"The Carsons" is an animated mockumentary sitcom, which follows the lives of an upper-lower-middle class African-American family known as the Carsons, which consists of newly-weds, Steve and Katie, their baby, Nicole, and their anthropomorphic mutt and semi-retired R&B singer, Buddy. The show is set in the city of Los Angeles is a satirical parody of African American culture and working-class millennial young adult lifestyle. "The Carsons" is an ensemble show and is presented in mockumentary style, with the characters frequently talking directly into the camera.
