The Camera Fiend

Based on the novel by E.W. Hornung, THE CAMERA FIEND is the story of Dr. Otto Gartner, a mad scientist obsessed with documenting the human soul. The unhinged scientist designs a device to kill and photograph his victims in the same instant. Meanwhile, an asthmatic boarding school student, Pocket Upton, who likes baseball and photography, wanders into the city of Savannah, Georgia and gets caught in the web of Dr. Gartner, only to eventually uncover his evil experiments in photography. The film is set in the pre-technology era of 1984.
