Director Biography - Herbert Midgley

Herbert Midgley is an accomplished filmmaker with an extensive background spanning various roles such as director, unit production manager, assistant director, camera operator, editor, sound designer, sound mixer, and more. With a repertoire of ten feature films and over fifty short films, he has ventured into narrative and art films while establishing himself as a sought-after producer, composer, and assistant director for independent projects. Herbert holds a Masters Of Fine Arts in Film & Cinematography, an M.Ed. in Education, and an M.M. in Music Composition.

Additionally, he has significantly impacted YouTube with over 6000 videos posted, demonstrating his dedication by consistently sharing one video per day since 2009. In Hollywood, Herbert has worked as a background actor on several television shows, including The Rookie, Shameless, Speechless, All Rise, The Goldbergs, and Kidding. Notably, he has also participated as a contestant on the popular game show Let's Make A Deal, capturing attention with his memorable viral performance.

In 2014, Herbert premiered his sci-fi feature film, The Rise Of The Robots, at film festivals across the United States, which later secured distribution on platforms such as Amazon Prime and DVD. His ongoing film series, On The Brick Streets, has gained significant popularity through its screenings at various film festivals. Installments like On The Brick Streets Of Nacogdoches and On The Brick Streets Of Nacogdoches Vice have amassed a dedicated fan base.
