The Bride Price tells the story of forced marriage in Malawi, Africa. Despite a constitutional amendment deeming it illegal, more than 50% of girls below the age of eighteen continue to be victimized. Focused on the powerful leaders, advocates, and girls of Malawi, The Bride Price describes the struggle of Malawians as they redefine the hearts and minds of their people and proudly proclaim, "When you educate a girl, you educate the whole nation."
