From The Book of Forgotten Things

Every forgotten thing is preserved within The magical Book of Forgotten Things. Most things are naturally lost to time, but some are deliberately forgotten. Unconsciously, Humanity possesses the power to collectively and forcefully forget things that it refuses to accept as part of reality. These forgotten things are quietly swept from the world.

Someone makes the curious mistake of opening the book, releasing something terrible back into the world: the long forgotten most talented man in history— a man not a single person wanted to remember.
