Director Biography - Elli Belle Maven

Elli Maven earned her MFA in Computer Art and Animation in 2004 from Florida Atlantic University and spent the next dozen years teaching at the college level and side gigging as a VJ at music and art events across the southeastern US for the next dozen years while taking on the occasional freelance project for independent filmmakers.
After taking some time off for health care, Elli re-emerged creating her own original projects in collaboration with her creative community. This has evolved into the small independent media creation company Wavpixlab, where Elli is Creative Director.

Director Statement

Animated music video is my favorite area to work in and I love bringing the songs of my musical friends to life visually. This piece was a fun challenge bringing together the work of multiple visual artists. I am more of a graphics animator than a character animator, and this was my first four legged walk! We had a great time making this animation and hope to make more projects with Sidework Syndicate in the future.
