Director Biography - Gift Kyansimire Oroni

Sheldon Mutei is a fine artist with a curious inquisitive mind. Illustrations, drawings and paintings, are at the core of his art form. He is part of a trio the inkspace bureau and takes lead when stop motion animation is up for discussion. He enjoys showing how whimsical and happy life can be when truly soaking in casual everyday activities. He is the creator of corona in da club, a stop motion short film that has won several awards internationally.

Gift is an illustrator who has worked on film, books, and even ad campaigns. His heart though is super passionate about creating beautiful work of art that shows Africa, and his city to the rest of the world. He hopes to retire in a village soon and be able to create picture books for kids.
