The Bigger the Figure

The Bigger the Figure is a lyric video, inspired by Louis Prima and his comical imagery. As a dancer, I am constantly inspired by music, especially in ones that I can picture expressions and movement. Louis Prima has a quality about his music that you can almost see the performance in front of you just by listening to his music. Which in turn inspired me to want to create a narrative. Combining the techniques found in motion graphics and in film, this piece follows a spunky character expressing each line of the song from intro to pre-chorus.
