Director Biography - Jingyao Zhang

Jingyao Zhang is a young female filmmaker who is currently a high school student. She has a mature understanding about art and filming, and being director, producer, cinematographer and production designer for several award-winning projects. Also, she is a photographer and doing freelance work for ads and news agencies in Shanghai and Nanchang.

Director Statement

As a female artist, I seek to give a voice for those urban female individuals and depict their unique stories, because I am one of them. Also, as a teenager, I am looking forward to sharing my point of view and the world in my eyes, something that only been experienced in my age.
