Director Biography - Habib Shahzad

Habib Shahzad, an independent filmmaker, began his cinematic journey during his studies in England, sparked by a minor role in a British urban drama. Intrigued by the filmmaking process, he transitioned into various roles behind the camera, honing his skills and venturing into directing. In 2020, he founded BHM Films, driven by a mission to support and engage fresh graduates in the filmmaking industry. Habib's focus lies in producing documentaries exploring cultural, historical, and heritage themes showcased at renowned festivals as well as films. His recent works, including "Araaf - The Purgatory," have received prestigious awards and recognition. "The Bag," is a short film emphasizing interfaith harmony. Inspired by his inner creativity and the work of industry influencers, Habib Shahzad is on a dedicated path to artistic excellence.
