The Awakening of Edwin Lorde

A boy trapped in time spends decades ruminating over his wrongdoings and, consumed by loneliness, corrupts his visitors. By some inexplicable force, with each transgression committed, another person becomes trapped. As the decades pass, the visitors begin to wonder if they have truly been trapped or freed.
A raw commentary on the ambiguity of morality and the volatile definitions of "good" and "evil". Edwin Lorde uses people as pawns in his game against time, and eventually, loses.

Created through The Acting Gym’s summer independent film program. A rigorous program for young professional and pre-professional artists in the film and entertainment industry. The program provides practical hands-on experience in every aspect of the filmmaking process - acting, writing, design, tech, post-production, etc. Each film is written, acted and crewed by students who work alongside experienced industry professionals.
