Here's what filmmakers are saying about The Audience Awards:
"The best part about participating in The Audience Awards is that we got the chance to share the stage with phenomenal films and give a wider audience the opportunity to see our work. We were amazed at the quality of the other films we competed against and we are thrilled to have come out on top in a tight race. The competition was a lot of fun and we're excited to see the platform grow."

"Competing in the Audience Awards gave our film a new life, and newfound exposure. It can be a challenge to keep a short film alive after its initial arrival on the scene, and this opportunity breathed fresh air back into it. For me personally it was important to see my crew get some love online; in our case, this film was a collaborative effort, and my generous team volunteered their time and ingenuity, no questions asked."
Lou Karsen, Director, Won $300

“The Audience Awards LGBTQ Short Film Competition provided me an extraordinary opportunity to find a new and larger audience for my film, Four Letters. The competition pushed me to promote the film as far and wide as I possibly could, and I learned so much about how vital that kind of tireless promotion can be for independent filmmakers like myself. And of course, the $1000 prize money is a really great reward for all the hard work my team and I put into promoting our film during the competition. “
