2021年，杭州亚运会施工建设正如火如荼展开。
夜晚，一对恋人开摩托车行驶在城郊，寻找记忆中的游乐场。在路途中他们产生了争执。
争执过后，他们抵达一片湖泊，男人告诉女人，两年前来过此地……
In 2021, the construction of the Hangzhou Asian Games is in full swing.
At night, a pair of lovers drive a motorbike through the outskirts of the city in search of a remembered playground. On the way they get into an argument.
After the argument, they arrive at a lake and the man tells the woman that he was here two years ago……

Director Biography - 胡兆祥 Zhaoxiang HU

胡兆祥，导演，编剧，毕业于浙江传媒学院戏剧影视导演专业，正在探索叙事文本与影像之间结合的更多可能性。毕业作品《在别处》入围“第三届北京国际短片联展”、 “HiShorts!厦门短片周”等影展。长片项目《水东游》入围“HiShorts!厦门短片周”创投单元、第五届“NEW ERA青年电影季”创投会，入选 “FIRST 2020年度入围电影计划项目”、“华语青年电影周 2020猎鹰计划 年度十强”。

Director Statement

《荒原》它讲述了一对年轻男女，在某个夜晚经历的奇幻故事。其中我想探讨关于城市建设（亚运村施工），自然生态（湖泊的消亡）跟人们记忆之间的某种神秘关系。
The Asian Orphan is a fantastical story about a young man and woman who experience one night. In it I wanted to explore the mysterious relationship between urban construction (the construction of the Asian Games Village), natural ecology (the demise of the lake) and people's memories.
