Full Feature Screenplays:
1st Place: 80% of total registration & screenplay to top executives to be produced*
2nd Place: 10% of total registration, plus a written & social media review.
3rd Place: 5% of total registration, plus a written & social media review.

Short Feature Screenplays:
1st Place: 80% of total registration & screenplay to top executives to be produced into full length*
2nd Place: 10% of total registration, plus a written & social media review.
3rd Place: 5% of total registration, ​plus a written & social media review.

Rules & Terms

- Screenplay can be any age.
- Script can be any length. Short or Full
- Script can be any genre (minus X-rated or Satanic, or Satanic themed)
- Winners will receive their designated percentage as soon as the Host Festival receives the monies from FilmFreeway, and the winners announced.
- Winners will be contacted on how both parties can send award money.
- Winner of 1st prize. Note, there is no eta on top executives reading or signing a movie deal with the screenwriter. This is mainly due to COVID-19 and the recovery it will take. Although, we will not retain 1st right of refusal from the screenwriter. If you sell or option the screenplay before the Host festival does, that's great! It's your work! We only guarantee that top Hollywood executives will read the script. By no means by winning the screenplay festival grants the sale or option of the screenplay to producers. If they want to buy or option the screenplay, they will be in contact to agree.
- Short feature winner. The top executives, by no means, guarantee any monies to make the short screenplay into a full feature. They will read the script and make their mind up from there. If they do want to, they will be in contact to come to an agreement.
-By sending the screenplay festival your screenplay, you are NOT giving your right away to them. We cannot speak on behave of FilmFreeway, but the Festival will not own your script.
- You will get a quick written review on your screenplay, as well as a social media review from top Hollywood producers.
- Screenplay must be written in the industry-standard formatting.
- Screenplays can be in the 1st draft to the final version to submit. Please no shooting scripts, as there is no director attached.
- The Art of Filmmaking Screenplay Festival cannot be held to any legal charges for reading your submitted screenplay. You willfully pay the fee for their opinion on your script, no matter if the opinion is great or rude or terrible in your opinion, you agree that you cannot seek any legal charges​
