Grace Campbell is from Colorado, USA. She is a current senior attending a joint program at Emerson College and the Paris College of Art earning a Global Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Film Art. Her fascination with A.I. began in early 2023 after attending a workshop discussing the relationship between A.I. generative art and graphic/digital design with the prolific French graphic designer and artist Étienne Mineur. In June 2023, Grace attended art history and documentary classes. She was asked to create a documentary blending what she had learned. She took this opportunity to interact with A.I. in relation to its growing presence in the world of fine arts.
In collaboration with Mya Hawreliak, Emerson College, and various A.I. models, The Art of Artificial Intelligence was created to explore the evolving relationship between A.I. generative art and humanity.
Mya Hawreliak is from Washington, USA. Currently in her final year at both Emerson College and Paris College of Art, she will graduate with a Global Bachelors of Fine Art in Film Art.
After taking a class in early 2023 focusing on digital and new media art, Mya’s interest in exploring Artificial Intelligence and generative art was born. During the summer she was assigned to create a documentary discussing topics learned in an art history course. Partnering with Grace Campbell, The Art of Artificial Intelligence was created to explore the changing relationships of technology and art with the introduction of A.I. generative software into the mainstream.
