The Argument

James and Nora met and fell in love when the world fell
apart. People began to get sick and eventually turned rabid.
They began eating other people and any resemblance to the
humans they once were disappeared.
One day, Nora left their safe house without telling James.
When she returned hours later, he was furious. He begins to
question her on where she went and why she didn’t tell him
first.
Nora immediately gets defensive and brushes him off which
only angers him further. Eventually she tells him that she went
back to take out the pack of infected that they spotted
nearby. He asks why she left without bringing him or even
telling him she was going, and she tells him that he would
have put them both at risk.
After arguing back and forth with heightened emotions, they
eventually are able to calm down and work through it. As they
“kiss and make up” the sound of infected breaking in hits
their ears.

Director Biography - Sarah Wood

I am a St. Louis born and raised filmmaker. My obsession with films began before I could walk, and it never went away. As a child, I would spend hours on the weekend watching every DVD extra I could get my hands on, so it really shouldn't come as a surprise that I found my passion behind the camera. I am a fan of many genres and am not one to put myself in a box. Whenever the inspiration strikes, I'll be ready with my camera in hand.

I have always had a love for Zombie flicks, so it makes sense that my first short film would somehow involve the undead. Anyone who is a true fan of the zombie film genre knows the heart of the story is the living. The Argument focuses on that heart and how we can use it to survive.
