Director Biography - Luah Garcia

Luah Garcia is an animator and illustrator from Rio de Janeiro. She studied at Gobelins Summer School in 2013, participated in the Ventana Sur 2023 and Nickelodeon Content Accelerator 2023 mentoring programs for creators with the project ‘’Pizza Delivery’’. She worked on the animation projects Irmão do Jorel (1st to 4th season), Historietas- O Filme (2017), Ico Bit Zip (2019), Galaxy of Creatures - Star Wars (1st season -2021), Little Ellen (2022) and directed two episodes of ‘’Mulheres Fantásticas’’, the authorial short film ‘’Lucinéia’’ which was selected for animation short film festivals in 2023 and the environmental children's short film ‘’Os Aventureiros do Tempo perdido’’ selected by Sesc Pulsar/Palavra Liquida 2023, premiering in September.
