Kyle Kouri is an actor, writer, filmmaker, and producer in Los Angeles, CA. He received his MFA in Fiction from Columbia University, where he served as the online arts editor for the Columbia Journal. He is the co-founder of Slashtag Cinema, an independent film production company based in Los Angeles. He is the co-host of "Nobody Reads in LA," a web series highlighting independent bookstores around the world. In 2024, he played Brutus in a production of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar at the California Theater of the Performing Arts, and starred in "Shakespeare in Vegas," an ensemble comedy which premiered at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. His writing has appeared in Cleaver Magazine, the Columbia Journal, Ghostwatch Zine, and The Los Angeles Press. He lives in LA with his four rescue dogs and his girlfriend, the writer CJ Leede. "Keep Coming Back," a film Kouri co-wrote, directed, and stars in, will be premiering at Screamfest Horror Film Festival in October.
