Writer Statement

22 veterans commit suicide each day. Every 65 minutes, we lose one. That one was someone's brother. Someone's child. Someone's love. Our film, The 22, is dedicated to those who serve our country with the kind of courage we civilians will never know. Bringing awareness and shedding light on those suffering with PTSD from the horrors of war. Wounds that our soldiers wear aren't always seen. For those that fight for the freedoms we have, the war continues within them, and our mission is to bring this cautionary tale of loss, pain, and loyalty to the surface.
