Coki, Udin, and Kunto who were patrolling were playing cards and talking about their lives. The conversation was filled with many jokes that were very typical of old man jokes. Their excitement then died down when they saw a man pushing a motorbike. They helped the man to fix his motorbike. They chatted with the thief before saying goodbye. Shortly after the thief left, a husband and wife came to the patrol post, panting. They reported that their house had just been burglarized.

Director Biography - Bramuda

Muhammad Bramuda is a young director who was born on November 5, 2000 in Cirebon, West Java. Currently, Bramuda is pursuing a bachelor's degree in International Relations at Airlangga University, Surabaya. In campus-scale film activities, Bramuda currently serves as the Head of the Production Division of the Cinematography Student Activity Unit, Universitas Airlangga. Active in campus film activities since 2018, Bramuda has produced a number of films entitled Re: (2019), Temu (2019) and Esa Hilang Dua Terbilang (2021).

Director Statement

The appointment of the ronda post background with the patrol culture is one thing that is actually deeply rooted in Indonesian society but is rarely discussed even though it has a crucial role in society, both in terms of security and friendship. Pos ronda is also a masculinity site for men, where men often gather to discuss things that can be discussed without worrying about the reactions of their wives and children. Masculinity that is sometimes excessive, of course, also has an impact on friendships and other problems. This film has the typical tone and character of Ludruk East Java, an art comedy drama staged by an art group. With Ludruk's distinctive character, this film is lighter and easier to enjoy but still rich in culture. Ludruk who also uses everyday phenomena in his performances is in line with the storyline of this film.
