Thaddeus Christandl was born on the 29th of August 1992 in Bangkok (Thailand) from a Cambodian mother and an Austrian father. He lived in Phnom Penh (Cambodia) until he was 6 years old, after that he arrived in Paris (France) and has been living there ever since.
After his “Baccalauréat”, Thaddeus got a Bachelor's degree in Film Studies at the Paris 8 University – Saint Denis Vincennes. He went further and completed a Master's Degree in Film Direction at the same University.
During his studies, he directed 4 short-films, A Flancs Battus (Blue Ashes) being the fourth. To finance and grant a legal structure to his last endeavor, he created the student association Kashira Production. Since then he helped develop and finance five other short-films from fellow students.
After his studies, Thaddeus began to work in the Film Industry, as a location unit on several commercials and feature films.
