Deemed a "rare gem" with the "it" factor" and a "notable artist" Tessa Farrell is a rare talent with ability to do it all... acting, directing, screenwriting, producing and editing. Tessa was born in Scottsdale, Arizona to Catherine McGinley, a real estate agent, and Scott Farrell, a novelist under the pen name Scott Falcon. Tessa had a seemingly normal childhood and went to film school at The University of Texas. After graduation, she moved to Hollywood to pursue her true love... movies. Tessa immediately landed a recurring appearance on Entourage as a supermodel and caught the eye of actor Ty Granderson Jones from Con Air and was asked to star in his film, Diamond. Tessa's "compelling, charismatic and graceful" performance in Diamond secured her a nomination for Best Female Action Performer of the Year in the International Action on Film Festival. While studying at over 7 different acting studios and continuing to audition for TV and movie roles, Tessa developed a special interest in psychology, sociology, spirituality and global culture. These interests quickly inspired her to shift focus to making a difference in the world by becoming more than a movie actress. Growing increasingly unsatisfied with the content she was auditioning for, Tessa transformed into an unstoppable passionate artist driven to create original content and do something in film that's never been done before. This motivation evolved into the cutting-edge shoe-string budget coming-of-age comedy Cinema Rebel, a movie shot entirely on her iPhone. Tessa is now developing more movies to star in and overseeing distribution for Cinema Rebel.
