>>> SUBMISSIONS FOR SEASON 3 ARE NOW OPEN !!! <<<

We are pleased to announce the 3rd Annual "Terror In The Bay" Film Festival! From October 17th-20th (doors will be open at 7pm) we will be showcasing a wide range of films and trailers from around the world - HORROR, THRILLER AND MYSTERY FILMS ARE WHAT WE LOVE!

Our festival is built by filmmakers for filmmakers, and we know the hard work and dedication it takes to make a film of any genre and length. Film festival submission fees can add up very quickly, so we kept our entry fees low.

This 4-day event will take place at the historic Paramount Theatre, which has recently changed it's name to MapleTops Paramount Theatre, located in the downtown core of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.

The downtown core and entertainment industry in Thunder Bay has been growing steadily over the past several years, and MapleTops Paramount Theatre is one of the oldest buildings in the city. It has been newly renovated inside, has a full concession stand and hosts several local plays and musicals.

Cool festival, we regret to not have our movie screened due to schedule problems with the theater, but the communication was perfect.

Hello Mr. Carrete, thank you for leaving a review of our festival, and congratulations for winning Best Feature Film! Next year we are extending our festival by 1 day, so we will be able to fit more films into our program! We hope to see more work from you again in the future, and best of luck in the film festival circuit!

Thank you for reviewing our festival Mr. Gilbank, and Congratulations to Jo Mousley for winning best actress (Polterheist) in a category that was full of very strong performances this year. Best of luck in the film festival circuit!

  • Thank you for having 'The Tattooist' as the Winner for Best Trailer at the Terror In The Bay Film Festival 2018! 😍 Such a privilege to be among the very best in horror genre! Super prompt and smooth communication from the organizer and very good build-up towards the event in their Facebook page. Kudos! The only drawback for me, is that I was hoping to get my hands on that lovely MORA award that looks absolutely amazing! All winners should be given one instead of limiting it to only 4 categories. Well, maybe it's just me being sour 🍇 grapes.😅 A highly recommended festival! 👍🏼

Thank you Mr. Wong for your very thorough and honest review of our festival! We will definitely be looking at adding new categories, and perhaps adding even more MORA awards per category in the future! Congratulations again on winning Best Trailer this year for "The Tattooist" and we hope to see more work from you again in the future! :)

  • We could not be prouder to have been selected at Terror in the Bay Horror Film Festival and eventually awarded a MORA for Best Featurette. The communication was very smooth from the start and the festival team really cares about the event experience for the filmmakers as well as for the audience. Congratulations to the entire team of organizers and volunteers.
