Terra mala

Mino, having moved to the countryside during lock-down, spends his afternoons writing music: he’s a singer-songwriter, a dreamer pure of heart, suffering from the breakdown of the world in which he lives. One evening, emptying some boxes leftover from the move, he finds “Terra mala,” a German board game gifted to him by his uncle Antonio, who emigrated to Switzerland. Remembering how, as kids, they enjoyed pretending to live in a Paradise immersed in nature, Mino starts up a game, however this time playing alone. At every throw of the die, unusual things happen around him. Characters and scenes from another world come to life, designed to reveal to him a much larger plan. Here Mino is asked to choose between two fates: sticking to life as usual or taking his predestined place in the game and changing the fate of the world.
