Teo Marinakis is a young filmmaker interested in exploring urban culture, latino stories, and music. He grew up in Chile to a Brazilian mother and Argentinian/Greek father, which has inspired his drive to tell multicultural stories. Having graduated from NYU Tisch in 2020 with a Film & Television degree, he then co-founded Ooof & The Walrus Llc, an independent production company. His film "Cabourg" won the Audience Choice Award at Hip hop film Festival the same year.
