Director Statement

The tennis short film was especially meaningful to make because I relived my own experience while I was writing and filming it. Back when I played tennis, I used to be very insecure and anxious to play with others due to my beginning skill level. Just last fall (2023) I finally made my high school's varsity tennis team. The stranger that offered to play played a huge role in making that possible.
