Taking place at the Eloia Theater in Calvert, Texas, the Tenderheart Film Festival is an industry leading event in a historic venue. The festival boasts the opportunity for independent filmmakers to showcase their work, connect with industry professionals, win awards, attend trade seminars, and screen their film in front of potential sales agents and distributors. Inspired by humanitarian Chris Johnson, the films included in our program reflect the qualities of friendship, kindness, and compassion.

SUBMISSION:
Films must be submitted via FilmFreeway, via high resolution download, or online screener accepted by FilmFreeway. The submission fee will be required for all films submitted. We do not provide fee waivers. Officially selected films must be submitted on DVD (NTSC), Blu-Ray, or digital format (MP4, MOV). Digital files may be provided via Dropbox or any similar service, or via the download process of your video hosting platform (Vimeo or Youtube). It is the submitter's responsibility to provide a viable screening copy. The Tenderheart Film Festival will not "rip" videos from Youtube, Vimeo, or any other video hosting platform. Failure to provide a screening copy will result in removal from the screening schedule. Films must be available for screening during the publicized dates of the Tenderheart Film Festival. Entrant confirms and warrants required legal authority to submit the entry into the Festival and to use all music, images, and content in the entry. (This means that you either own or have permission to use everything in the film.) All entries must be either in English or subtitled in English. Foreign language films without English subtitles will not be screened. Only complete entries (including entry form, payment, and screeners) will be considered. Please complete your submission via FilmFreeway. Please double check your information prior to submission. The TFF is not responsible for incorrect wording in publications, promotions, or awards if the entry form is incorrect or illegible. Sorry but we do not consider works in progress.

PUBLIC SCREENERS:
Please send two copies of the film on DVD (NTSC) or Blu-Ray, playable on standard commercial Blu-Ray players (not a data disk with a file of the movie). Please check the disk before sending it. If you choose to submit a digital copy of your film for the screening, please ensure any links you provide also contain download functionality. DO NOT send press kits with your submission. Accepted films will receive instructions for submitting promotional materials with the acceptance notification. DO send your synopsis and, if desired, a cover letter introducing you/your film. DVDs will not be returned via mail. (If you attend the festival and wish to have your disc returned, just ask after the screening. We will be happy to oblige)

NOTIFICATION:
Please monitor FilmFreeway for the status of your submission. Email will be the primary means of communications. If you have not received notifications shortly after the final submission deadline passes, check your spam or junk mail folder. If the messages did not route to one of those folders then contact the festival director with an alternate email address.
