"Televised" A Stop-Motion Short

"Televised" is the story of a family who receives a mysterious package, containing an old television that alters their reality. The family must try to find a way back to their normal selves before being lost completely.

Televised is a stop-motion short film created by Shadow Woolf in his senior year at CCAD. Work on the film began in August of 2016 and was finished in April 2017. All of the animation done with physical puppets was created using Dragonframe, the facial animation was done in Toon Boom Harmony, and composing done in After Effects.

Director Biography

Shadow Valashard Woolf (birth name) is an Ohio native, who was born and lived in the Dayton area until his move to Columbus. Shadow has been creating art his entire life and enjoys using as many different approaches to his work as he can. His animation and painting style is usually focused around characters that are exaggerated and wrinkled and he tries to add small elements to his works that make them even more unique. Shadow enjoys working in black and white or limited color palettes.
