Caden H. Hollander has been making films since fourth grade, his short films having won accolades all over the world and been screened in over 40 film festivals. He is currently a Freshman at the USC School of Cinematic Arts with a major in Film/TV Production (BFA). Caden's passion for musical theater inspired him to write, produce, direct and edit Tech Week, his first feature film!
TECH WEEK is an incredibly personal film to me, as in many ways, it is based on my own life. I moved to San Diego in 2014, knowing barely anyone and feeling lost, not fitting in with my surroundings. When I coincidentally received an audition flyer for a community theater production, I decided to do it, not knowing that this decision would change my life. The people that I met through that production, and all of the musicals I performed in after that, are still close friends today, and many can be seen in the movie. This film has been years of my life, as I spent my sophomore year of high school writing it, junior year in pre-production and filming it and senior year editing it. I hope that you enjoy, and remember, the curtain never closes.
